Kuantan attractions

I've spent my pass five days in Kuantan as a technical official for Sukan Institusi Pendidikan Malaysia 2017 (SIPMA 7). At the mean time, I am grateful enough to have a friend who willing to travel me around Kuantan. So we went for food hunting and some place of interest during our off.

So here are some nice place recommend for foodies like meeee :D

1. Alor Akar Seafood Restaurant （关丹乞丐鸡海鲜饭店）
Address : Lot 7695 & 7696, Jln Kubang Buaya, Off Jalan Beserah, Kuantan, Malaysia.

this is their famous 乞丐鸡

thai style steam fish

this dish is recommended by one of the worker in the restaurant.

（ugly but niceee）

better come early if you are hungry or else you will have no place to sit. Other than that, you also have to wait for their serving which took reallyyyyyy long because of their good business.

2. Restaurant Hoi Yin (海燕茶室咖喱面)

Address : No. 31 Jalan Teluk Cempedak, Kuantan 25050, Malaysia.

curry mee suggested by local people but to me is only 6 out of 10. This is because their soup slightly flat and the price is so much not worth it. It costed RM 5. Somehow you can still pay a visit there as everyone has different taste :P

3. Mustafa Cendol

Address : Jalan Telok Sisek, Kuantan, Malaysia.

This is also one of the highlight of their restaurant.

4. Coffee Gallery

Address : Kuantan Star 17 Lorong Sri Kuantan, Kuantan 25300, Malaysia.

Beautiful environment , delicious food and excellent service.

so the one i cancelled are the places that i have not manage to go due to the pack SIPMA competition hours.

1. Sungai Lembing Tin Mines

for those who interested can refer ticket prices from here.

so we took this mining train into the tunnel for about 800m.

This is the map of the tunnel. It tooks about an hour for the entire walk.

the total length of the Tin Mines Tunnel is about 320km. However, only 1km is open to public due to the safety purposes.

I also manage to try this thing out like how dwarf did in Cinderella 1950 films :D

2. Fireflies Watch (Hafiz's Cherating Activities)

we went for the fireflies watching by this company.

Unfortunately it was a full moon on that day so is quite hard for us to search for the fireflies. Somehow the expert tour guide still manage to leave us a very unforgettable moment throughout the whole journey.

3. Telok Chempedak

nice and clean beach in Telok Cempedak.

yeap, nice spot for photo shooting too ^^

there are also KFC, MCD, Subway, A&W and a lot more fast food restaurant near Telok Cempedak Beach. Parking is not a problem there. Just pay RM2 you can park your car whole day in the open car park :D
